Poppet Check Valve, Male Thread (MPT)

A male-thread poppet check valve that screws straight into your soft wash metering valves, with no nipple in between.

Most check valves have female threads, so you need a threaded nipple to connect them to a valve, and every extra joint is one more place for an air leak. Doug had these made with male pipe threads so they thread directly into the valve. The 1/2" size is the check valve used on the Kingslinger Soft Wash Mixing Station for the last couple of years.

How to Choose

• 1/2" MPT: for the Kingslinger Soft Wash Mixing Station and the GF Blend Mixing System.
• 3/4" MPT: for the Big Slinger Soft Wash Pump Station and The Soft E.

Doug's Note

Inspect any check valve regularly. I recommend replacing them about once a year, depending on how much you use them, and the same goes for the female version. Always keep spares on the truck for field repairs.
