RAP Degreaser Cleaner Surfactant

RAP Degreaser Cleaner Surfactant: a concentrated, biodegradable degreaser and surfactant. Dilute it for oil stains on concrete, general cleaning, or as the surfactant in your house and roof wash mix.

RAP is a concentrated blend of fully biodegradable surfactants with conditioning and softening agents. It rinses easily and helps you clean better, and you can use it on a wide variety of jobs.

RAP uses emulsifiers and surfactants to separate grease and oil from a surface; it does not contain solvents to dissolve them. After separating the grease or oil, it encapsulates the molecules so they don't stick back down.

What You Can Clean With It

• Heavy-duty degreasing: Oil stains, grease and grime on equipment, concrete, asphalt and other surfaces where grease builds up.
• General cleaning: Gutters, vinyl siding, fences, decks, and automotive exteriors and interiors. You can even use it on carpets, stains in clothes, or to wash your hands after working on greasy equipment.
• House and roof wash surfactant: Boosts your mix's cleaning power. Unlike degreasers with sodium hydroxide, RAP will not kill your bleach.

Dilution Guidelines

RAP ships as a liquid concentrate with no water in it. You must add water. If you use it full strength, it will not work.

Mixing by the gallon:

• Normal use: 1 gallon of RAP to 20 gallons of water
• Downstreaming: 1 gallon of RAP to 10 gallons of water
• Heaviest stains: 1 gallon of RAP to 5 gallons of water

Mixing by the job:

• Heavy degreasing: 5 to 10 parts water to 1 part RAP
• Medium degreasing: 15 to 30 parts water to 1 part RAP
• General cleaning: 30 to 50 parts water to 1 part RAP
• Surfactant use: 0.5% to 3% of your solution

Directions for Use

• As with all cleaning products, test a small, out-of-the-way area first to check surface integrity and colorfastness.
• Dilute with water before use. Dilution rates will vary.
• Don't mix RAP with any other soap or surfactant.
• For best results, apply the diluted solution with a low-pressure applicator, then use your pressure washer to downstream or upstream.

Caution: This product may cause eye and skin irritation. Always wear proper eye and skin protection, do not ingest, and keep away from children. In case of contact, remove contaminated clothing and flush with soap and water.
