Downstream Injector Check Valve Setup
Downstream Injector Check Valve Setup
This item is shipped with the male plug pointing out for water flow. If you need the female coupler as out please indicate in the notes of your order.
This Downstream Injector Check Valve Setup includes the General Pump Injector (either 2.1 or 2.3), Check Valve, Quick Connects, and the stainless steel connector and BRASS hose barb. I have been using this setup for a couple years now. This will help your injectors last longer, as well as enable you to achieve stronger mixes than without using the check valve.
The advertised draw rate is that having the check valve on your injector will get you up to 20% stronger mix. I have no idea if this is accurate or not, I just know that when I use the check valve, I do get stronger mixes than when I do not.
While I can't (and won't) say that it's strong enough to clean roofs (because it's not), it is strong enough to clean a lot of porous surfaces, like stucco or brick, depending on how bad the staining is. Always remember that all the bleach is doing is changing the color of the organic staining. So if your method of application is not doing that, then you need to apply a stronger mix.
