Hex Bushing 1/2"MPTx3/8"FPT

 This reducer is used on hose reels for pressure hose so you can direct connect 3/8 pressure hose or use a quick connect set in the MPT version. When using the 1/2 MPT x 3/8 FPT Steel Reducer, I always use quick connects.  This makes it easier to take the hose off the hose reel when needed, especially for when a hose busts on a job.  Also makes it easier when needing to move the truck or trailer on a job site.  It prevents having to roll the hose up.  Instead I just drop the hose, move the truck or trailer, then drag the hose to where I move the rig.

For installing, you can thread the FPT end into swivel and manifold connection, the attach the quick connects to the MPT part, attach your pressure hose to the quick connect and you're done.  The swivel you will attach a small whip hose to your machine. You can also direct connect the pressure and whip hose to the MPT part if you prefer.
