Plug 3/8 x 1/2MPT

This is a General Pump Plug 3/8 x 1/2MPT that we use for hose reels instead of having to use a 1/2" x 3/8" reducer.  Most hose reels are 1/2 inch manifold and swivel with Female Pipe Thread.  When you are wanting use quick connects on your hose reel, like I do, this is an easier way to connect them.  Allows you to eliminate the reducer fitting.

Since all my fittings are set up using the plug as the outlet fittings.  I attach this fitting to the Manifold, or inside part of the reel.  The 3/8 x 1/2"MPT Brass Coupler I put on the swivel part of the reel.  If you use socket out as your outlet fitting, then you'd just do the opposite.

These can also be used for unloaders that have 1/2 FPT, or any other opening that you are trying to get from 1/2" to 3/8" using quick connects.
