High Volume Wash Down Gun 

The High Volume Wash Down Gun is used mainly for applications in food processing facilities, beverage and brewing plants, agriculture and dairy, fire suppression and more. Please know and understand this gun and it’s uses for the equipment you have.  Don’t fall into the hype of videos you see of people using them, thinking it will do the same with your equipment. For soft washing I recommend only using for rinsing and not applying your mix.  Used with a high volume low pressure dedicated pump, this gun can cause you to apply way more mix to a surface than what is needed.  You will use way more mix than is needed and increase your risk of property damage.  Flooding your surfaces with a high volume of mix is not needed. I do not own one of these, and don’t recommend them.  BUT, I can see it being a great tool for high volume rinsing, with water, especially if you’re using one of the gas powered chemical applicators.

When using bleach to clean surfaces, remember it’s not the amount of mix flooding the surface that does the cleaning. More does not equal better. It’s the bleach in the mix. The bleach changes the color of the organic stains. so that it can then be rinsed away.  Applying more mix than is needed is a waste, and increase risk of property damage.  Trust the mix, let it dwell, then rinse.
