Your soap nozzles will have orifices (holes or openings) two (or more) sizes larger than your rinse nozzles. So if you're soaping with an 0030, you would rinse with an 0010.\u003cbr\u003e Then, you'll want a \u003cstrong\u003e\"high\" and a \"low\" of each type\u003c\/strong\u003e. For me, \"high\" nozzles are usually 0° (shooter tip) and \"low\" nozzles are usually 25° (fan tip). I can only tell you what gun works best for me. Most often times, you have to try them all to figure out the \u003cstrong\u003ebest soft wash gun\u003c\/strong\u003e for you and your business.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePersonally, I don't like the type with the long sprinkler riser coming off the ball valve. But many people do, and that's fine, because it works for them. I prefer using a ball valve-type gun, as it won't cause restrictions or loss of distance and flow like trigger guns. However, trigger guns are much safer, because if you drop one, it will immediately stop spraying.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eRemember, you should not use this type of gun on a pressure washer. This one is straight. This adjustable dual lance straight wand is what I use and the best one I have ever found. The seals in the handle seem to last much longer than the cheaper curved-end models. The dual lance wands are made for downstreaming your chemical when the handle is rotated. Once done applying chemical, you can simply rotate the handle the opposite direction and rinse. Only problem is you go from very low pressure to high pressure to rinse.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI only use the adjustable Dual Lance for being able to adjust my pressure for cleaning. In a word, yes.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhile normal pressure cleaning tips spray, shoot, and fan, they do that in one direction: away from the end of the hose. Jetting nozzles (also called sewer nozzles) spray away \u003cstrong\u003e\u003cem\u003eand towards\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e the hose. Typically, two jets will spray forward, and three will spray backwards. This backwards spray helps propel your hose down the pipe you are trying to flush out. Otherwise, you'd be pushing against all the pressure anytime the water hit a clog.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThese stainless steel nozzles are available as either fixed or rotating and in different sizes depending upon the GPM of your pressure washer. Insert the hose a few feet at a time, pause, and then back up about a foot or so before advancing another few feet. When you've got the drain cleared out, withdraw the hose slowly. Stop when you're near the opening of the pipe and turn of the machine before removing the hose completely.
